Mission Statement: As part of the Whispering Meadows Community, our school encourages students to become lifelong learners by providing a challenging and safe environment where all students can grow academically, socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically.

Education:  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana-Purdue University (Fort Wayne) in Theatre with a performance emphasis (May, 1988). I received my Master of Arts degree from Ball State University in Speech-Language Pathology (May, 1996).

Experience: I am in my 18th year of teaching in Southwest Allen County Schools. My home office is at Whispering Meadows Elementary School, but I service Homestead High School, Aboite Christian, and Walk-In students.

Family and Hobbies:  I come from a wonderful, large, and loud family. My hobbies include film/theatre, reading, and traveling. I perform in many theatrical productions in the area, which is a great love of mine. Most recently, I performed in productions of "Boeing Boeing" (Arena Dinner Theatre) and "The Man Who Came to Dinner" (St. Francis University). This past summer, I traveled to Munich, Germany, Prague, Czech Republic, Budapest, Hungary, Vienna, Austria, and Salzburg, Austria. Last year, I toured Italy, including Rome, Venice, and Florence.
