NEW VISITOR POLICY
48 HOUR NOTICE AND APPROVAL REQUIRED
* Requests must be received by 8:45am the day before your visit.
- Due to new safety regulations, all visitors must be scheduled 48 hours in advance through their student’s teacher or WMES faculty member.
- All visitors must first pass a background check. Adults who have lived in IN less than 1 year must complete an out of state background check and pay a processing fee. Please contact the Administration Building secretary at 431-2051.
- Visitors will not be permitted into the school building unless their name appears on the scheduled list of visitors.
This online request form is for visitors requesting permission to volunteer for rare situations when you might be volunteering for areas outside the classroom (PTC Popcorn Friday, lunch visitation, etc...) only. The majority of requests will be submitted by WMES staff members.
We apologize for any inconvenience this policy may cause and hope that you understand that our intention is to provide the safest environment for students and staff possible.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- The email field is required. If you do not have an email address please call the school office at 260-431-2601.
- The Student's Name field is required. If you have a student at WMES please list their first and last name. If you are a volunteer for a specific teacher, area or grade level, but do not have a student at WMES type N/A in the text box.
- If you do not receive a "thank you" after you submit your request, the process has failed.
- If you do not receive approval for your visit, you will not be allowed past the school office.
