Lochry is Teacher of the Year

Kathleen (Katie) Lochry, a 2nd grade teacher, was recently named as Whispering Meadows Elementary's 2023 Teacher of the Year (TOY). The TOY award is designed to honor, promote, and celebrate excellence in the teaching profession. Candidates are nominated by their building’s fellow staff and peers.

Ms. Lochry is now a candidate to be named SACS’ DISTRICT TOY to be announced later this year.
