ARTS Under the Lights – a community event celebrating the ARTS
Thursday, September 18 | 6–9 p.m. | Homestead High School Football Stadium
Join us for ARTS Under the Lights, SACS’ free, family-friendly, all ages festival celebrating the arts! Just like last year’s READ Under the Lights, this evening will bring our community together for creativity, fun, and unforgettable performances.
🌟 Event Highlights:
- Live student performances by SACS choirs and jazz bands on two rotating stages (starting at 6 p.m.)
- Make-and-take art stations for all ages
- Bounce houses & family activities
- Delicious food trucks (food & drinks available for purchase)
- Live demonstrations: pottery throwing, raku kiln, glass blowing, and Family & Consumer Science showcases
- Meet & greet with local artists, public safety officials, and community mascots
- Tours of the nearly completed Homestead High School renovation & construction project
- “Drive a Bus” experience (age restrictions apply)
